The Plans, they are a changin'
Biarritz is not only beautiful it is also expensive. Closet size apartments here run around 450 euro. I met this dude Mat from North Dakota and he's heading down to Morroco so...
Mat is a cool guy. We have several things in common such as an interest in Hemmingway and an affinity for surfing. It's looking like we may coordinate a trip down the coast 'till we reach the Sahara. Nothing is firm yet but I'll keep you all posted.

Also the surf is MONSTROUS! For the past few days I have been pretty much the only idiot out in the water, scaring myself shitless. The thing with France is that there are no sheltered breaks. When the swell is 20' (like now) it hammers the beach right up the coast. Today is supposed to be more manageable
Comments:
i hope the surf cleans up on that side otherwise i suggest jumping on a train and heading to San Sebastien; the waves may be a little more ride-able on the north coast. or even better, try to find Mundaka's conditions cuz that's a hot little number as well! oh, as for morocco. do it, billy j, do it.

yeah digs...good call. We,re heading down there tomorrow.

so there may be in some truth in this foley character's rant... the only time i was there was as flat as a crepe. but could the stormrider's guide really betray those mainstream who are looking for "possibly the best rivermouth wave in the world"? would you be so lucky to be hit by a rare offshore SW or be sitting on cobble stone eating paella all day? whateves i'm bias to portugal south coast so i say go south to cove-y arrifana. whatever you choose, definitely doing better than my 7-3. aloha.
